Scottish Friendly offers a wide range of life cover products to protect yours and your loved ones financial security:
- Term Assurance- this type of cover will pay out if you pass away or diagnosed with a terminal illness during the specified term. The diagnosis of a terminal illness must occur prior to the last 18 months of the term and should state that the life expectancy is less than 12 months. You can choose the level of cover up to a maximum of £200,000. The amount of cover and your premiums stay the same during the life of the policy.
- Over 50s Guaranteed Protection Plan - this plans guarantees acceptance for UK residents with no medical exam or health questions. The premiums and the amount of coverage remain the same throughout the life of the policy. When you reach age the 85 there are no more premiums to be paid and you keep your coverage. However, if you stop paying your premiums before your 85th birthday the cover will cease and you are not able to receive any money back. It’s important to remember that depending on low long you live you may pay more in premiums than the total amount of your cover. You also have an option to submit all your benefits to Golden Charter, UK’s leading independent funeral plan provider, for funeral arrangements. In this case Golden Charter will contribute an additional £200 to your benefit.
